Advice for checking a seasonal palette at home - EmmaDut - 09-20-2026

I have been trying to understand my color season, but the answers keep changing between two neighboring palettes. One assessment says Soft Summer while another leans toward Soft Autumn. My skin reads as broadly neutral and both muted ranges seem plausible in indoor light. I looked through several outdoor photos but camera settings may be influencing what I see. Before changing my wardrobe I would like a more repeatable way to compare the options. seasonal palette test seems like a useful reference rather than a final verdict. Would you start with undertone or compare chroma and contrast before temperature? I can borrow fabric swatches so I am happy to do a careful home check. Daylight testing is easy for me and I can keep the camera exposure fixed. Which clues would show you that one muted season is more accurate than the other? I am most interested in hands-on advice from people who have worked through a similar overlap. Another question is avoiding changes caused only by camera white balance. I am also curious how many comparisons are usually enough before a pattern becomes clear. Thanks for any guidance
